چکیده

We have studied the superconducting gap structure of LaPt$_2$Si$_2$ by measuring temperature dependence London penetration depth shift $\Delta\lambda(T)$ and point contact spectroscopy single crystals. shows an exponential at low temperatures, derived normalized superfluid density $\rho_{s}(T)$ can be well described a single-gap s-wave model. The point-contact conductance spectra also fitted Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk model, where value typical BCS magnetic field consistent with type-II superconductivity. These results suggest fully gapped superconductivity in LaPt$_2$Si$_2$, moderately strong electron-phonon coupling.

Conventional superconductivity and charge-density-wave ordering in Ba1xNaxTi2Sb2O

We have investigated the low-temperature physical properties of BaTi2Sb2O and Ba1−xNaxTi2Sb2O (x=0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3) by means of muon spin rotation (SR) and SQUID magnetometry. Our measurements reveal the absence of magnetic ordering below TDW=58 K in the parent compound. Therefore the phase transition at this temperature observed by magnetometry is most likely due to the formatio...

Superconductivity and Charge Density Wave in ZrTe3−xSex

Charge density wave (CDW), the periodic modulation of the electronic charge density, will open a gap on the Fermi surface that commonly leads to decreased or vanishing conductivity. On the other hand superconductivity, a commonly believed competing order, features a Fermi surface gap that results in infinite conductivity. Here we report that superconductivity emerges upon Se doping in CDW condu...

Superconductivity and charge density wave formation in TlxV6S8

We report on specific heat and resistivity measurements under hydrostatic pressure on the quasi-one dimensional metal TlxV6S8. We studied the interplay between the low temperature superconducting (SC) ground state and a high temperature charge density wave (CDW) instability. We observed a clear dependency of the physical properties of TlxV6S8 on the Tl concentration x. The CDW anomaly is presen...

Single-gap s-Wave superconductivity near the charge-density-wave quantum critical point in CuxTiSe2.

The in-plane thermal conductivity kappa of the layered superconductor CuxTiSe2 was measured down to temperatures as low as Tc/40, at x=0.06 near where the charge-density-wave order vanishes. The absence of a residual linear term at T-->0 is strong evidence for conventional s-wave superconductivity in this system. This is further supported by the slow magnetic field dependence, also consistent w...
